Affiliated Faculty

The faculty associated with Sixth College play an integral role in helping the college achieve its goal of building a community of education.

Faculty participation in Sixth College is critical in creating a community that is active and vibrant and provides a home for students and faculty alike. You'll find there are many different opportunities to become involved.

As a Sixth College affiliated faculty member:

• You become a member of the college government, and you participate in discussions and vote on issues related to the academic program and the educational environment of the college.
• You can attend regularly scheduled faculty meetings, and we will invite you to take part in both permanent and ad hoc college committees.
• You can teach either by becoming involved in the core sequence, by creating special seminars, or by guiding students in their practicum projects
