Campus Resource

UCSD has 2 libraries open to the community: Geisel Library and the Biomedical Library. The libraries have spaces for a variety of activities including group study rooms, a child-friendly study room, learning commons, a digital media lab, and more.

Sixth College Tradition
Chocolate Festival

The Sixth College Chocolate Festival has been a spring quarter tradition since 2004 and is sponsored by the Sixth College Community Board. The event attracts over 600 guests from across the University. The annual festival includes chocolate fountains, lots of sweet and savory dipping items, music, prizes, music, and activities for all ages.

Parent/Family Orientation
Parents and Family will be able to register once the student has registered and provided us with the parent email address. An email will be sent with the link to the registration form. Registration for the Parent/Family Orientation will close on August 31st. If you have questions, please refer to the Parent/Family Website.

Class Enrollment Period
New First Year Students should have received a recommended course list August 14. Students should review their recommendations and prepare for the enrollment period to start on August 26. Transfer students should be in touch with their major departments to develop a recommended schedule for the Fall quarter. The transfer student enrollment period will be from August 24-August 29. You may be unable to register for classes if you have a hold on your account

Triton Cash

Using Triton Cash can be a bit confusing at first, but there are many benefits! Triton Cash is accepted at over 60 locations on and off campus. Most of these places will also offer a discount for using Triton Cash. It never expires, there are no fees, it rolls over from year to year, and it's refundable upon leaving UC San Diego. It's a safe, secure, and convenient alternative to cash. Most importantly, if you are living on campus you'll need Triton Cash to do your laundry!
