Or wanting up to date information on big changes around campus, especially in Sixth College? If so, then apply to be part of Sixth College Student Council (SCSC)! We are the official student government body representing Sixth College students and residents, where we host large-scale annual events and help bring about change within our campus.

The Student Foundation promotes a culture of philanthropy by organizing, managing, developing, and stewarding campaigns. Trustees learn how to invest, fundraise, and manage a $600,000 endowment, all in the name of student scholarships. Stop by our info sessions Monday or Tuesday, Oct. 3rd & 4th, 7-8pm at the Student Services Conference Room 450  to learn more about the Student Foundation and how you can get involved!

It is a federal holiday to honor and express gratitude to our military veterans, acknowledge their sacrifices in defense of our country and our freedoms, and recognize their contributions to our great nation. CAPS Drop-In Workshop:
ACT on LIFE involves experiential exercises to move you towards acceptance, openness, and flexible thinking. You will be provided with tools and strategies to accept what is out of your control and to commit to actions that are in line with your values. The goal is not to take away painful experiences, but to find beauty with the ups and downs of life. Happens Mondays, 3-4pm at Pepper Canyon Hall 223.

Back by popular demand, you can register today for PSYC 193 (E00): Psychology of Prejudice! The United States is becoming an increasingly diverse country in a world influenced more and more by globalization. In short, intergroup interactions are increasingly ubiquitous & future outcomes will depend more and more on how well we manage them. In this course, we will consider the psychologically relevant research and theory relating to stereotypes, prejudice, and discrimination.

All PSYC 193 courses require department approval; please use the Course Pre-Authorization Tool to request authorization.

Apply for ArtPower's Student Advisory Committee
ArtPower is excited to initiate a speaker series during the 2017-2018 multi-arts season after hearing directly from students that there was a need for more non-academic speaker events that address the diverse interests of the campus community. As part of the development of this series, ArtPower will work with a student advisory committee to curate, plan, and promote speaker events that will occur in the Winter and/or Spring quarters of the 2017-2018 academic year.
