Television Club Presents: Lip Sync Battle


The Television Club at Sixth College is proud to present its First Annual Lip Sync Battle! Do you have a killer fake-singing performance that deserves validation and reward? Well, look no further, we got you covered! Prizes are awarded to the top 3 contestants, with first place winning a $70 Visa Gift Card and a medal! FREE PIZZA FOR ALL ATTENDEES. Come watch and judge your fellow Tritons!

Sunday Supper & Culture Night of the Americas: Home


Join us in a community-centered celebration with lots of home-cooked meals made by the residents of the ERC/I-House communities, catered dishes, and performances! This quarter, our theme is ""Home" - in order to celebrate the unique, inter/national experiences of our communities. Additionally, in order to be more environmentally sustainable, we encourage everyone to bring their own plates/bowls and eating utensils! Happens Sunday, Nov. 5th, 6pm at the Great Hall .








Language Conversation Tables: Week 6


UCSD International House presents this school year's Language Conversation Tables (LCT)! LCTs are one of I-House's most popular programs and this year they'll occur every Monday, Tuesday, and Friday! Come to learn and practice languages for FREE with an amazing community, exchange culture weekly, and to connect with students from all over the world! Protect yourself from Flu Season! No appointment needed. Walk-ins Welcome. Tdap vaccines are also available. Note: This service is for registered students only. Walk in for your free analysis which includes: body weight, percentage body fat, total body water, and blood pressure. One free assessment per quarter is available to registered UCSD students. Happens every Wednesday, 11-11:45am at The Zone .








Global Forum – Quarterly Conversations in Global Health: Maternal and Child Health


Join us for appetizers and hear from a panel on Child & Maternal Health featuring UCSD faculty, researchers and outside organizations. According to the World Health Organization, approximately 830 women die every day in 2015 from preventable causes related to pregnancy and childbirth, while more than 750 children under the age of 5 died every hour in 2012. Come hear from experts and organizations and learn how they are reducing those numbers. Happens Wednesday, Nov. 8th at 3pm in the Great Hall .

Student Health services is offering low-cost, one hour sessions (up to 3 students per session) with a licensed acupuncturist, provided exclusively for registered UCSD students, for only $20. MUIR 2 (Winter 2018) - Now Open To All Transfer Students


MUIR 2 is now open all all Transfer Students across the Six Colleges. Incoming students for the 2017-18 academic year will be pre-authorized to enroll. This course equips Transfer Students with the best practices and critical skills on how to succeed at a large research university. Topics include: effective research and study skills, personal well-being, communication skills, research and experimental learning, academic success strategies, and more.
