Packages

The Sixth College Res Life office provides certain mail services and accepts packages from most carriers at our office.

I'm having something shipped to me. What address do I use and what packages come to the office?

We accept UPS, FedEx, DHL, and other private carriers directly to the office.

How will I be notified that my package has arrived?

You will be notified via email. If you have not received an email to your UCSD email address, then the Sixth College Res Life office does not have your package.

Tracking numbers are not wholly accurate. Please wait until you have received an email from the Sixth College Res Life office before coming in to ask for your package.

Will some packages go to a different location? How will I know to pick something up from Mail Services?

U.S. Postal Service (USPS) packages go to the Mail Services Center.

You will receive a package slip in your PO box, notifying you that you have a package.

Mail Services is located in the Campus Services Complex.

What about normal mail, like letters and postcards?

Normal mail is sorted and delivered to your PO Box every weekday by 4p. Please check your PO box daily.

Can I send a package from the Sixth College Res Life office?

If you want to send a package, please contact the carrier before dropping it off in the Res Life office. Any package left in the Res Life office for pick up is not the responsibility of Sixth College.

Can I buy stamps at the office?

Unfortunately, we do not sell stamps at the office. You may buy stamps from the Post Office, located in Price Center East, by Burger King.
