Dine-with-a-Prof Program
Attention Undergraduates. You are invited to participate in a program sponsored by the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and Sixth Colleges to increase interactions with UCSD students and faculty outside of the classroom -- Dine-with-a Prof Program. This program will help to foster informal, out-of-classroom interactions between undergraduate students and faculty members. It also gives you the opportunity to experience a professional atmosphere of dining at the UC San Diego Faculty Club.
Take advantage of this wonderful opportunity! Only 100 meal vouchers will be sponsored, on first-come first-serve bases, one voucher per student. This program will start Monday, October 13, 2008 and concludes on Friday, June 12, 2009.
How does it work?
Before obtaining your FREE meal card, please make sure you have the following information:
Obtain a meal card for the program at the Sixth College Dean of Student Affairs Office, second floor, Pepper Canyon Hall (map). Eat lunch on campus at the Faculty Club (map)
The meal card can be redeemed only by the faculty member with the student as a guest. If another student will like to join your lunch, he/she will need to pick up a meal voucher at Sixth College.
Contact Yvette Durazo, Assistant to the Dean of Student Affairs (858) 822-5953., or visit the Sixth College Hub to solicit your meal voucher. Sixth College leads you to innovated ways to connect and expand your educational experience at UCSD.
