Transfer students at Sixth College, learn about important resources especially for you.
You're invited to participate in the Sixers Helping Sixers program as a new Sixth College transfer student. This program pairs incoming first-year students and transfers with a current student for answers to questions and help making the transition to UCSD and Sixth College. Contact Jenelle Dean, Coordinator of Student Activities, for more information.
Coalition members identify the specific needs of both transfer and commuter students and provide programs to meet those needs. Contact Contact Christel Lomahan or Javier Reyes for more information.
During Week 1 of every quarter, Sixth College hosts a social for all transfer and commuter students. It's a great way to meet other students, connect with UCSD staff and learn about resources available to you.
During Spring Quarter, one Sixth College transfer student is elected to serve as the Transfer Student Senator on the Sixth College Student Council (SCSC) for the coming academic year. This student is your representative to the SCSC and advocates for issues and concerns facing all transfer students. This key position is currently available.
For more information, contact Giang Nguyen, Chair, SCSC.
