DataHacks 2020
The Data Science Student Society (DS3) is proud to present DataHacks, a 24-hour data science hackathon! In this hackathon, participants may choose between 3 datasets to analyze and answer questions pertaining to the specific dataset. The first wave of applications for DataHacks will be closing on December 15th, so apply now at http://datahacks.tech to have a better chance of getting in!

Hard Hack
HARD HACK registration is OPEN! This year you'll interact with representatives from Northrop Grumman, Texas Instruments, and many more to be announced very soon. We will be offering more hardware and of course there will be free food and lots of swag! Don't know anything about hardware? No problem- this is a great opportunity to learn something new from fellow ECE students with industry experts who will be on site mentoring you throughout the hack!!! All majors, grad/undergrad are welcome to participate.

Apply for the Capital Fellows Program
 

The Capital Fellows Programs are nationally recognized public policy fellowships offering unique experiences in policy-making and development in each branch of California state government. Fellows work for 10-11 months as full-time, paid staff members in the State Assembly, State Senate, Executive Branch or the Judiciary. The fellowships are administered by the Center for California Studies at California State University, Sacramento, and are an outstanding opportunity for college graduates to engage in public service and prepare for future careers.

Holiday Airport Shuttle
Going home for the holidays? Need a ride to the airport? UCSD has a holiday shuttle that can take you to and from the San Diego International Airport. The shuttle costs $5 to use and reservations can be made online. Reservation is required and it is on a first come first serve basis so get yours soon. We are excited to promote a free weekly shuttle service to Convoy and Balboa Ave! You can find various grocery stores like 99 Ranch Market, Balboa International Market, Food 4 Less, Zion Market, Tropical Star Market and Restaurant, and H-Mart. You can learn more about the route and various departure times as well as access several coupons and special offers for UCSD students here.We encourage anyone who is planning on shopping to bring your own grocery bags.
