Gabriela Aceves

Welcome to Sixth College! My name is Gabriela Aceves and I serve as the Assistant Director of Residence Life at Sixth College.

I graduated from UC Merced where I received my B.A. in Political Science and discovered my passion for Student Affairs. I pursued my Master of Arts in Education with a specialization in Organizational Leadership and Student Affairs at University of the Pacific. My professional areas of experience include residential life, student misconduct, student mental health, and student activities.

I enjoy working in higher education as it provides me with the ability to directly guide and mentor young adults. As a first-generation student myself, I understand that transitioning into a college environment may be challenging, but I am here to support you in your journey.

Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, dancing, photography, traveling, and listening to live music. I look forward to meeting you Sixers!
