UCSD Student Film Festival

ArtPower! is partnering with UCSD-TV and the UCSD Media and Teaching Lab to present a three part student film festival on broadcast TV and on our "Online Theater" (one "festival" per quarter). Led by a team of student curators with UCSD senior Keita Funakawa (http://www.fkfilms.com/) at the helm, student films will be thoughtfully selected and brought to a wide audience.

The Online Theater page, designed by UCSD recent grad Frank Shanley, will be launched on the Filmatic Festival website (http://www.filmaticfestival.com) OCTOBER 1, 2014. On this page there will be a link to submit your work for consideration, and if your work is selected, we will advise you on the best final format to submit for broadcast. Below are dates for the UCSD TV on air screening.

The general public via Facebook will get a chance to vote on your films. One film from Fall and Winter will be selected for a "live" screening at the 8th Annual Up&Coming Student Film Festival on May 1, 2015. The film selected during the Spring Festival will be screened "Live" at the 9th Annual Up&Coming SFF.

Students submitting work must submit a signed release form, which will be available on the submission page. Please note that for your work to be aired on TV, you may not use copyrighted materials.
