My name is Anthony (Tony) Jakubisin and I am the Associate Dean of Student Affairs & Director of Residence Life in Sixth College. I was a transfer student as an undergraduate, spending one year at Boston University and then finding my home at The Ohio State University. There, I earned both undergraduate and graduate degrees and decided to come to California in 2005. My professional experience in higher education spans almost two decades and I have worked in residential life, student misconduct, counseling, multicultural education, science education, and educational research. I belong to several professional organizations including the Association for the Study of Higher Education (ASHE), the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA), the Association for Student Conduct Administrators (ASCA), and the American College Personnel Association (ACPA). My research interests include education policy and pedagogy and I am a strong advocate for equity, diversity, and inclusion as well as environmentalism.  In my free time, you can find me in a bookstore, museum, movie theater, or enjoying the ocean in some way.
