Islam Awareness Week
When asked to describe a Muslim individual, people often place focus on our religious identity or our individual identity. However, in Islam, these two identities are interconnected. In this Islam Awareness Week, we would like to emphasize that whatever we do in our lives has a spiritual basis. We would like to show the community that our religion extends beyond ritualistic acts of worship. Rather Islam is also a way of life. The impact of this way of life extends to both self-growth and to bettering the community.
