Sixth Residential Life

Associated Students of UCSD

The Associated Students at the University of California, San Diego serves as the recognized undergraduate student government. AS invites you to learn more about its leadership, programs, and services dedicated to enhancing the student experience at UCSD.

Center for Student Involvement

Find a place of belonging and personal growth, and become an experienced citizen and leader through engagement in Student Organizations, Events, Sorority & Fraternity Life, Communication and Leadership programs, and Community Service initiatives.

Located on the 3rd floor of Price Center - East.

Student Sustainability Collective

An open space for the UCSD community with resources about sustainability (books, director office hours, campaign involvement, and funding opportunities) to foster a culture of responsibility, collaboration and empowerment for campus sustainability.

Located in Price Center, next to the Price Center Theater

Financial, Career & Transportation Resources

Career Services Center

Find internships, jobs, volunteer, resume workshops, job fairs, walk-in advising and interview practice.

Located on Library Walk.

Financial Aid Office

Provides resources, forms, and assistance for the process of paying for college, applying for scholarships and grants, and figuring out education loans.

Located on the 3rd floor of the Student Services Center.

Student Financial Solutions

SFS offers a broad range of services and programs encompassing student account management, university billing services, loan administration, campus cards services, and central cashiering to students, faculty, staff, and community members.

Located on the 3rd floor of the Student Services Center.

Transportation Services

Purchase parking permits and pick up bus stickers (if one does not have a smart phone). Runs the on-campus shuttles, including the Grocery Loop, Inside Loop, Outside Loop, Mesa Loop, Regents Express, Health Campus Connector, and Scripps Institution of Oceanography Shuttle.

Located on the 2nd floor of Gilman Parking Structure.

Student Health, Safety & Wellbeing

Counseling and Psychological Services

CAPS provides counseling, workshops, and community connections for UC San Diego students. Services are confidential and free.

Located in Galbraith Hall, Suite 190.

Triton CORE

Mobile response team that provides compassionate intervention and supports students experiencing a behavioral health crisis.

Accessible through calling UCPD at 858-534-HELP.

LionTree Arena (RIMAC) & Main Gym

On campus gym with workout facilities and physical reacreation programs that are available through sign up.

Located next on the North West end of campus, next to RIMAC field.

Outback Climbing Center

On campus indoor climbing center.

Located just inside the main door of the Canyonview Aquatics Center on the UCSD campus off of Voigt Drive, near the trolley station.

Canyonview Aquatic Center

Features two outdoor, Olympic-sized pools, each of which can be divided into eight lanes of 50 meters in length, or 19 lanes of 25 yards in length. The aquatic center also features a state-of-the-art weight room.

Ombuds

The UC San Diego Office of the Ombuds provides confidential, neutral, and informal dispute resolution services for the UC San Diego community through providing guidance with the resolution of academic or administrative issues and disputes and facilitating communication and assist parties in reaching mutually acceptable agreements. 

Located in Pepper Canyon Hall, Suite 402.

Safety Escort Program

Call (858) 534-9255, or extension 4-WALK from a campus phone, year-round between sunset and sunrise, to request that a student Community Service Official escort you to your campus destination. After 1 a.m., University Safety Officials may provide this service. 

Sexual Assault Resource Center (CARE @ SARC)

Confidential advocacy and education office for sexual violence and gender-based violence (dating violence, domestic violence, stalking). Provides violence prevention education and offers free/confidential services for those impacted by sexual assault, relationship violence, and stalking.

Located on the 5th floor of the Student Services Center

Student Health Services

Provides primary medical care, including urgent care and support services (labs, x-ray, and pharmacy).

Located at the Student Health Services building on Library Walk.

The Hub Basic Needs Center

Collection of services provided by campus partners to work with both undergraduate and graduate students who have concerns with access to Basic Needs resources. The Hub's services are categorized by Food Security, Housing Resources, and Financial Wellness.

Located in the Old Student Center.

Triton Food Pantry

Works in partnership with the San Diego Food Bank and Garden of Eden. At the food pantry, a variety of dried goods, canned goods, and fresh produce are available to students for free.

Located in the Old Student Center.

The Zone

Provides innovative programming that promotes healthy living and well-being resources for student relaxation, social support, and personal development.

Located in Price Center.

Academic Internship Program (AIP)

Earn academic credit for your internship and deepen your learning by enrolling in one of AIP’s special studies internship courses: AIP 97, AIP 197, and AIP 197P. Build experience and explore a professional setting while working with a faculty advisor to connect theory and practice. AIP courses are open to undergraduates of all majors.

Located in The Teaching + Learning Commons on 1st Floor-West in Geisel Library.

Academic Enrichment Program

Provide research-oriented preparation under guidance of UCSD faculty mentors.

Located on the 1st Floor of the Student Center-Building B.

Academic Integrity Office

Handles violations of academic integrity (ex. reporting cheating). Provides resources and training for student and faculty relating to academic integrity.

Located in Pepper Canyon Hall, Suite 364.

First Year Experience

Freshmen Experience Program (SXTH 1) and Transfer Experience Program (SXTH 2): 2-unit courses designed to help new students get the most out of their first year at UC San Diego and become more engaged and informed students.

Student Promoted Access Center for Education and Service (SPACES)

Student-funded, student-run space that specifically works to provide academic support and act as an empowering dynamic for students to collaborate and achieve greater educational equity.

Located in Price Center West, level 2.

Geisel Library

On campus library. Available to check out study rooms. Access to books, research experts, and librarians.

Located on the North end of Library Walk, near Price Center.

WongAvery Library

On campus library. Available study rooms, desks and books.

Located on the UCSD medical campus, near the Gilman Transit Center.

Registrar's Office

Request official transcripts, manages enrollment in classes. 

Located on the 2nd floor of the Student Services Center.

Study Abroad Office

Provide guidance and information for study abroad programs.

Located next to the Student Services Center and Price Center.

Office of Academic Support and Instructional Services (OASIS)

Provides free tutoring and academic support.

Located in Center Hall, level 3.

Triton Transfer Hub

Reservable quiet and group study space. Community building opportunities, free printing, snacks and coffee, Triton Transfer Storytellers Gallery winning designs on display! Peer coaches ready to support, other social professional and academic events.

Located in Pepper Canyon Hall, Suite 261.

Virtual Advising Center (VAC)

Provides academic advice for students. Located online (accessed through TritonLink). 

Teaching & Learning Commons

Home of the Writing Hub, where students can get help on course papers and independent writing. Learning strategies workshops and consultations, drop-in questions or 1:1 sessions in writing, math, chemistry, and physics; also houses some Supplemental Instruction (SI) courses.

Located in Geisel, 1st Floor-West.

Reporting & Support Resources

Misconduct Report Form

Non-Academic Student Misconduct Report Form. Can be used to report non-academic misconduct by students. After you click the link, select Non-Academic under Violation Type, and fill in the remainder of the form.

Center for Student Accountability, Growth, and Education (SAGE)

Receives and processes student conduct complaints while offering consulting and advising to faculty and staff regarding potential (and/or actual) student conduct cases and incidents. Meets with students to resolve student conduct incidents and answer their questions about the student conduct process.

Office for the Prevention of Harassment & Discrimination (OPHD)

Works to resolve complaints of unlawful discrimination and unlawful harassment through formal investigation or alternative resolution. Explains and clarifies university policies and procedures regarding unlawful discrimination, unlawful harassment and retaliation. Offers a variety of training programs and workshops in the prevention of sexual violence, sexual harassment and all forms of discrimination for students, faculty, and staff.

Located in Pepper Canyon Hall, Suite 470.

Student Legal Services

Provides services to UCSD undergraduate and graduate students, as well as to student organizations. Student Legal provides free, confidential counseling on legal topics for individuals and groups, education programs, including a full schedule of workshops each quarter, referrals to a private attorney, and support for students interested in legal careers.

Located on the 5th Floor of the Student Services Center.

Student Resource Centers

Asian Pacific Islander Middle Eastern Desi American Programs and Services (APIMEDA)

Provides community and retention support for all students, centering those who are part of our large and diverse APIMEDA communities.

Located in the Cross Cultural Center on Level 2 of Price Center-East.

Black Resource Center (BRC)

Campus Community Center that serves everyone at UC San Diego while emphasizing the Black experience. The office promotes scholarship, foster leadership, and cultivate community for students through the committed, collaborative effort and support of faculty, staff, and the broader UC San Diego community. 

Located in the Old Student Center, Suite 202.

Cross Cultural Center (CCC)

The Cross-Cultural Center strives for meaningful dialogues and context across all cultures, particularly those of underrepresented or underprivileged backgrounds. The office offers supportive and educational services through art, social and educational programs, workshops, and outreach. Welcoming creative venues for enhancing social consciousness and equity. 

Located on the 2nd floor of Price Center-East.

International Students Programs Office (ISEO)

International Services and Engagement Office (ISEO) provides services and engagement opportunities that are open to all, with a focus on UCSD's international faculty, research scholars, staff, students and families.

Located on the 1st floor of the Old Student Center, Building B.

Intertribal Resource Center (ITRC)

The ITRC provides a supportive community space, academic support services, mentoring/leadership development, co- and extra-curricular programming, and non-academic support. The ITRC is a campus resource for all students, with a focus on the needs of the Native American, Alaska Native, and Indigenous community.

Located on the 2nd floor of Price Center-West.

Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Resource Center (LGBTRC)

The LGBT Resource Center is a student-centered community organizing space for all students, staff, and faculty at UC San Diego. The Center supports the academic mission of the University through engaging with students to address policy, practice and structures for deeper inclusion of LGBTQIA+ people.

Located on the 2nd floor of the Old Student Center.

Raza Resource Centro

The RRC is open to everyone, and strives to emphasize and foster the access, retention, and graduation of Chicanx-Latinx students as well as create strong connections with our surrounding community. Offers activities, events, and resources to connect students, staff, faculty, and alumni. 

Located in Pepper Canyon Hall, Suite 262.

Office for Students with Disabilities (OSD)

OSD determines eligibility for modifications, academic adjustments, and other accommodations due to disabilities. OSD works closely with all students, including those with temporary and permanent conditions.

Located in Pepper Canyon Hall, Suite 300.

Student Veterans Resource Center

The Student Veterans Resource Center (SVRC) is committed to ensuring that military affiliated students successfully make the transition from the military environment to campus life, and are assisted in their progress toward completing their academic degree.

Located on the 2nd floor of the Old Student Center.

Undocumented Student Services Center

Serves undocumented students at UC San Diego through a holistic approach that encompasses personal guidance, immigration legal services, community building, partnerships, and referrals. Their programs and services are designed to help students overcome obstacles that arise from their immigration status and support them through personal and academic excellence.

Women's Center

The Women’s Center provides education and support to all members of UC San Diego regarding gender issues, with the goal of promoting an inclusive and equitable campus community.
