Involvement Opportunities at Sixth Residence Life

The Resident Assistant (RA) position is a paid position who lives and interacts with their peers in a residence hall or apartment complex. The RA is a member of the Residence Life staff and actively participates in the development of a comprehensive residential life program.

The Living Learning Community (LLC) Residence Life Programming Intern is a paid position, which is responsible for the development, implementation, and assessment of social and educational student activities programming designed to enrich the residential experience of LLC students.

The Front Desk Intern is a paid position, stationed at the Residence Life Office lobby, who manages incoming inquiries, varying tasks, and provides appropriate resources and information to Sixth residents and families.

The Sixth College Residential Life Graphic Design Intern is a paid position that is responsible for creating original design content for Sixth College Residence Life traditional and large-scale events, notices, merchandise, etc. The Graphic Design Intern works in collaboration with Professional Staff, Resident Assistants, LLC Interns, and Desk Interns to create original design content and serves as a liaison between affiliated organizations.

Sixth College Community Board (CoBoard), is a volunteer-based, student-led Residential College Council that strives to foster an environment of creativity, connection, and celebration of Sixers through community initiatives, events, and service.

Move-in volunteers are a part of the Sixth welcome team, and this volunteer position is offered to returning Sixers who will be living on campus. These students assist with move-in and guiding students to their new residential spaces, easing the transition into college living.
