Hannah McCurdy

Hello all! My name is Hannah and I am your Assistant Dean of Academic Advising here at Sixth College.

I grew up on the Central Coast of California and completed my undergraduate education at the University of Arizona where I studied psychology, family studies and human development, and dance. I obtained my Master of Arts in Postsecondary Educational Leadership and Student Affairs from SDSU in order to learn how to better serve students like you. While in graduate school, I worked at the Career Center here at UC San Diego. 

I joined the Sixth College Academic Advising team in 2018 so I have many years of experience helping students like you! My goal when working with Sixers is to help you understand your academic options so that you can choose what is best for you. As our unofficial Sixth motto, we always say, "we advise, you decide!"

Outside of work, I'm usually busy spending time with my husband, my one-year-old son, and my senior dog Muffin (see her picture on the Sixth College Support staff page!) I love doing yoga when I can find a free moment, going on neighborhood walks, and making weekly trips to my local library.
