Shawnessy Negrotto

Hi – I’m Shawnessy, your part-time academic advisor at Sixth. Prior to starting as part-time with the College, I was a full-time Senior Advisor at Sixth for five years, so I have plenty of experience helping Sixers along their academic journeys. I love meeting with students and answering your questions; no question is too complex or insignificant so do not hesitate in reaching out!

Prior to working at UCSD, I worked in Admissions at a local law school and served as an advisor for incoming students to the University of Washington, Tacoma.

I was born and bred in Southeast Alaska’s rain country, where I lived for 22 years, so I am loving living in Southern California. I live in Clairemont with my husband, my 9-year daughter and our cat Smitty and great Dane Tallulah. Come by and say hi! I love meeting students in person!
