- Global Experience

Are you creatively inclined or interested in artistic productions? Always wanted to get involved in a theater, choir, or dance group on campus? Then check out these courses enabling you to refine and showcase your artistic qualities. Options for fulfilling the experiential learning requirement within the Art and Performance track include the following:
CAT 90: Fall quarter offerings only.
Special study 198 or 199 courses: Must be approved in advance via the course proposal.
Approved courses: Take any class from the approved course list below to automatically satisfy the experiential learning requirement!
An updated approved course list is effective as of Fall 2024. The previous approved course list was only effective through Summer 2024. To minimize any impacts to long-term planning, students who entered the university prior to Fall 2024 can write into the Virtual Advising Center to request an exception to this change. Once you've enrolled in a previously approved course, you can send a message asking to have it applied to your experiential learning requirement and your degree audit will be manually updated.
Submit questions about the experiential learning requirement at any time and visit experiential learning drop-in hours on Tuesdays from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. during Week 1 through Finals Week.
Propose an experiential learning class not currently on an approved course list to fulfill the experiential learning requirement before the deadline specified for that category.
