TMC Provost Office

The Preuss School will continue to accept applications year-round for volunteers to work in-person or virtually. Students can also enroll in TMC 120 (offered Winter 2022) and receive academic credit for their service! This course will be offered Mondays 3-5:50PM at SEQUO 119. The UC San Diego International Students & Programs Office's (ISPO) English Conversation program, English-in-Action(EIA) is looking for volunteers who will enjoy meeting with international students on a weekly basis to assist them in improving their English language skills and to share our American culture.

Healing in Community

CARE at SARC Presents: Healing in Community. Healing in Community is a four session forum that is an informal, virtual drop-in group for survivors of relationship violence and sexual assault of all gender identities. Undergraduate and graduate student survivors are all welcome. Please join us as we learn about healing based topics such as self-care, healthy boundaries, journaling and building emotional safety.

APIMEDA Community Forum

The APIMEDA Community Forum is designed to address the concerns of Asian Pacific Islander Middle Eastern Desi American (APIMEDA) students at UCSD in a supportive and problem-solving atmosphere. Issues such as career and academic success, family pressures, cultural identity, and relationships are common topics. This forum is co-sponsored by CAPS and APIMEDA Programs and Services.

For Fall 2021, these meetings are hybrid. Physical meetings will be in The Lodge in the Kaleidoscope Building in Sixth College. We are asking that you use the remote link if you are unable to be physically present, or if you will not be wearing a face mask during the entirety of the in-person meeting. Participants participating in-person will not be able to eat or drink while in attendance.

Grief and Loss Support Forum for

Undergraduate Students

This is a support forum for students who wish to work through grief and loss related to death of a loved one. The journey is different for each person; there is no single pattern for grief. Topics are determined by group participants and can include sharing, giving and receiving support, common physical and emotional reactions, self-compassion, and emotional resilience. This is a drop-in forum and students are welcome to join each week or as it fits their needs and schedules.
