Art and Activism
The Art and Activism series reflects Sixth College's commitment to exploring the intersections of culture, art, and technology. Rooted in our interdisciplinary approach, these courses examine how creative practices can shape cultural change, influence technological development, and engage society in dialogue around pressing global issues.
Through hands-on, experiential learning, students collaborate with faculty, artists, and community partners to create projects that extend beyond the classroom. Whether addressing climate change, social justice, or community resilience, the series positions art as both a form of expression and a tool for activism.
By combining critical inquiry with creative practice, Art and Activism empowers students to explore how art can inform and transform the world around them.
