New Student Timeline

May - Early July

• May - Early July
  • Go to the Campus Card Office website for information on how to submit your ID card photo online
  • Request your official high school transcript, any college transcripts, and any AP/IB scores be sent to the UC San Diego Office of Admissions.
  • Verify that your junior year (or prior) AP/IB scores are sent 

June

• June 18
  
  • New Triton Advising site opens! Here you will need to input your Academic Information before the July 2 deadline.
  • The College Orientation Registration site opens! Register for Orientation before the July 25 deadline. After this date a $25 late fee may be assessed.
• June 25
  • Mandatory Sixth College Orientation Part I: New First Year Advising Webinar 10-11am PST (Must attend one of three sessions)

July

• July 1
  
  • Postmark deadline to submit high school and college transcripts (if applicable) to the UC San Diego Admissions Office.
  • Deadline to submit your ID card photo online to the Campus Card Office.
    
    • If you prefer to use your lived name, you can submit a lived name on the Social Identities Tool via My TritonLink. The Social Identity Tool allows students to set their lived name and lived personal pronouns in University records and systems.
• July 2
  
  • Deadline to complete your Academic Information on the New Triton Advising site.
• July 14
  
  • Mandatory Sixth College Orientation Part I: New First Year Advising Webinar 1:30-2:30pm PST (Must attend one of three sessions)
• July 15
  
  • Deadline to submit your AP/IB scores (if applicable) to UC San Diego Admissions Office
• July 16
  
  • Mandatory Sixth College Orientation Part I: New Transfer Student Advising Webinar 1:30pm-2:30pm PST (Must attend one of two sessions)
• July 25
  
  • Deadline to register for Orientation on the College Orientation Registration site without a $25 late fee.
• July 28
  
  • Login into Tritonlink to find your enrollment appointment times

August

• August 6
  
  • Mandatory Sixth College Orientation Part I: New First Year Advising Webinar 5:30-6:30pm PST (Must attend one of three sessions)
• August 11
  
  • Mandatory Sixth College Orientation Part I: New Transfer Student Advising Webinar 5:30-6:30pm PST (Must attend one of two sessions)
• TRANSFER STUDENTS: August 13-15
  
  • Online first-pass enrollment period: All new transfer students will have their first-pass enrollment appointments randomly assigned between August 13-15
  • It is imperative that you enroll during your appointment time; otherwise, you may not be able to secure seats in classes.
    Please note that you cannot change your enrollment appointment time. No exceptions can be made. Enrollment will open for all students beginning on August 23.
• FIRST YEAR STUDENTS: August 14-16
  
  • Online first-pass enrollment period begins for First Year Students. If you miss your first-pass enrollment time, you will need to wait until your second-pass enrollment time to register in courses. Please note, that you cannot change your enrollment appointment times. No exceptions can be made. Enrollment opens to all students on August 23
• TRANSFER STUDENTS: August 18-21
