Martin Luther King Jr. Parade 2007

Reaching out to and participating in the larger San Diego community is at the core of Sixth College's vision and mission.

This year's Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade is on Saturday, January 13, 2007 from 10 a.m to 1 p.m.

Participation in the parade is an opportunity to:

  • Enlarge our sense of belonging within the Sixth College, UCSD, and San Diego Community
  • Show our support for diversity and equality on the campus and in the community
  • Feel inspired by the spirit and sense of community invoked by the parade

To get involved:

  • Sign up to participate at the Sixth College Hub (map) and get a free parade T-shirt
  • Meet at the Sun God parking lot (map) by 8:30 a.m. for free transportation to and from the parade (and free breakfast!)
  • or
  • Meet the contingent at the parade assembly area located at Petco Park's Tailgate Park, 13th Street and Imperial Avenue, downtown San Diego (map) at 9:15 a.m.
